Prof. Ramis Örlü, Oslo Metropolitan University, has been selected as the winner of the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel prize by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He will be hosted in Germany by Prof. Philipp Schlatter (LSTM). The prize will allow Ramis to visit Germany and the Institute of Fluid Mechanics (LSTM) during the next two years, and perform joint research at LSTM, mainly on experiments in turbulence.
