The ERCOFTAC (European Research Community on Flow, Turbulence and Combustion) Pilot Centers of South and North Germany are jointly organizing the 17th ERCOFTAC Technology Day on Thursday, 3 December 2026. During the event, members of both Pilot Centers will give presentations on key areas of their work. The topics range from fluid mechanics and turbulence research through to flows involving combustion, flow acoustics and the application of modern flow measurement techniques. The speakers are experts in their respective fields who have been publishing papers at an international level for many years. The objective of the event is to improve the exchange of information between members of the institutions and to inform interested parties from industry about technical and scientific developments and innovations in the field of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Ample opportunity will be provided for direct discussions following the presentations and during the breaks. The aim is thus to foster close links between research and industry.
